Sometimes an opportunity can change your direction, introduce you to someone new, or help you discover something about yourself.
But here’s the thing: Opportunities don’t always look like opportunities at first.
It might be an invitation to attend an event. A chance to meet someone new. A volunteer project. A part- or full-time job. A class that sounds interesting. Or someone simply asking, “Would you like to try?”
The important part is being willing to recognize the opportunity and step through the door. I share this from my own experience. Sometimes saying yes and stepping through that door can be scary. I admit, I’ve felt that way, too.
