Elisa Basnight Layne is the Founder and CEO of WIN-NextGen™, a national nonprofit and workforce innovation network. Elisa leads a national WorkTech platform that connects career exploration, skills development, and experiential learning with employer needs across STEM, Supply Chain, and Skilled Trades, the 3S Workforce™. Through employer co-creation, WIN-NextGen™ helps cultivate workforce-ready talent and build sustainable talent pipelines.
Drawing on decades of experience in workforce strategy and enterprise transformation, Elisa focuses on how artificial intelligence is reshaping the world of work and how individuals and organizations can prepare for emerging opportunities.
A West Point graduate, two-time U.S. Presidential appointee, and corporate board director, Elisa is passionate about helping the next generation embrace technology, cultivate durable skills, and discover pathways to meaningful careers in the AI era and beyond.
